BOARDY IN CHATGPT
ChatGPT plugin help
Everything you need to get started, review your introduction, and keep the conversation going.
From ChatGPT to Boardy
- 01
Start your introduction
Open Boardy in ChatGPT and choose Onboard with ChatGPT. ChatGPT prepares an introduction from what you’ve shared and your public profiles.
- 02
Make it yours
Read the full introduction in the Boardy card. Ask ChatGPT to change anything before you send it. Preparing the draft saves it for review; it doesn’t start a conversation with Boardy.
- 03
Choose to send
On desktop, choose Send to Boardy. On your phone, continue in Messages, review the prepared text, and tap Send there.
On your computer
Review the introduction in the expanded Boardy panel. Once sent, you can chat with Boardy there and check upcoming meetings.
On iPhone or Android
Choose Continue in iMessage on iPhone or Continue in Messages on Android. Once your sent message links your account, return to ChatGPT to view and respond to matches.

Common questions
I already use Boardy. How do I sign in?
Choose “I already talk to Boardy” and use the email address associated with your Boardy account. Enter the verification code on the sign-in page. Check your spam folder if it hasn’t arrived. Never send that code in a chat or support request.
Where is my introduction?
Open Boardy in ChatGPT. After you choose Onboard with ChatGPT, your introduction appears in the Boardy card. On desktop, expand the panel to read the full draft. If you want changes, ask ChatGPT to revise it, then review the updated card before sending.
Messages opened, but my account still isn’t linked.
Opening Messages alone does not send your introduction or link your account. Review the prepared text and tap Send in Messages. Keep the ChatGPT code at the end unchanged so Boardy can connect your introduction to the right account. Return to Boardy in ChatGPT after the message arrives.
My Messages link expired or won’t open.
Return to the Boardy card and use its refresh-link action if one is shown. Try opening the refreshed link again. If Messages still won’t open, contact Boardy with your device type and the error you see. Don’t include the linking code.
Boardy hasn’t replied yet. Should I send it again?
Replies can take a little time. Reopen Boardy to check the latest status. If your message appears in the conversation, avoid sending it again. If it stays stuck or shows an error, contact Boardy with the approximate time and a screenshot with private details removed.
Why can’t I see my matches on mobile?
View matches appears after your Messages account is linked. You can accept a match or decline with a reason, see introductions in progress, and open booked meeting links. Declined and expired matches are excluded. Open Messages beneath View matches takes you back to Boardy without a prefilled introduction.
What happens when I choose Research with ChatGPT?
ChatGPT researches the person using public sources and shows you the report. The report and sources are also saved to Boardy, separately from your messages, so they can be reused. This does not accept or decline a match or send a message to Boardy.
Can I share files or use a voice note?
The desktop Boardy panel supports files and voice notes. Check the file’s read status; if it cannot be read, describe the relevant details in a message. Voice notes are transcribed into text for you to review before sending. On mobile, continue your conversation in Messages.
Your account. Your choices.
You can disconnect Boardy in ChatGPT’s settings. Disconnecting does not delete information already shared with Boardy.

STILL STUCK?
